I'm Blown Away By The Miami 2012 World Conference!

As an entrepreneur and social media fan it's so empowering to know that I'm right on target with the developments from Market America / Shop.com's technology updates! There truly is so much to offer the average person willing to build an internet business but they have to use the tools and share the opportunity. I'm so glad that I went down to Miami to attend this amazing 3 day event, it's helped rejuvenate my goals to find new team partners and develop a steady income using the UnFranchise system with the new products, technology and tools. I've already got several people messaging me for info while I was there!

Then as a makeup addict and Motives Trainer, I was so excited to learn about the new Spring collection and see the launch of Motives for La La that's been getting so much press like this story on Glamour. There are literally dozens of blogs, articles and TV news clips about it that there's no way for me to post them all here, look at the press link on the Motives site if you want to read up on all of those.

Perhaps the most notable thing was meeting La La Anthony! I attended the private Motives Trainer session on Wednesday and she popped in with Loren Ridinger to introduce herself to us and give some insight on how the Motives for La La ethnic makeup came to be along with how she will create some high visibility for Motives with her star power. Honestly, I didn't know who she was before the partnership but I hear she was an Mtv V-Jay (video jockey/host) a few years back before the reality show so I'll have to look up her bio. She's really nice and very personable and also building her own business as a distributor too, just like the rest of us! There's no paid endorsement for this makeup. I sat in the second row, right behind her brother, as it turns out, and took a bunch of cell photos that I put on Flickr along with my camera shots of the trip.

The Motives booth was a mob scene with a film crew while Loren & La La were there!! I stood in line later in the day to swatch the new makeup from both La La and the new Passport Destination line from the original collection which are gorgeous and made with amazing high quality for the price. There are some comparison charts for price, quality and selection that were shown featuring La La's line against other brands marketing toward Women of Color. Since La La is Puerto Rican, she is aiming to fill a void in the beauty market with this line and attract the Latina and African-American client to Motives. I will see if I can upload photos of those slides but they flipped through them fast so I only caught a few. They used Fashion Fair, Black Up, Sacha, and Iman cosmetics to test against and scored way better with no oily-ness or ashy results along with better pricing too. (We requested the company test against M.A.C. too for the new La La line since it's different than the original Motives by Loren makeup.)

Here's a swatch on my hand:

I will write another post about some of the social media and technology updates another time for mobile apps, Alice, Shop Buddy and more! There's so much to catch up on and people to follow up with! It's simply amazing how much more powerful this business gets with every year that passes yet it's still a binomial marketing plan and requires so little in sales. Duplication & Management is the key to growth and residual income with the UnFranchise. Get started for under $500, ask me how!
