So How Was Your Holiday?
It's Wednesday, three days after Christmas, and our family gave out all but a handful of gifts that are still under the tree. We just have to meet up with those friends when we all have time later this week hopefully before New Year's Eve celebrations for 2012. I'm tired of shopping both online and at the malls. How about you?

I hope that my readers had a great holiday too and were able to celebrate with friends and family. The stress and rush-rush-rush of the season is finally done and I'm seeing more Cash Back from my online purchases show up across the homepage of Shop.com and all the details of pending money in my Preferred Customer account. It's up to $91 now! I hope to put the cash toward something good but haven't picked out anything yet. I want to buy something with my accumulated cash back and not cash out since I know it'll end up going toward a credit card payment. hehe
Have you been doing any Clearance shopping? I haven't been back to the mall yet to see what's left and steeply discounted as per the batches of merchant emails still arriving in my Inbox. I'm more concerned with a few special items we could really use and a birthday present for my teen for her birthday next week. It's hard shopping for someone with a birthday near Christmas and New Year's Eve...all the good stuff is usually given to them as gifts or already sold out.
So, yes I got a few Yours By Loren pieces of jewelry under my tree.
The Brooklyn Bridge ring in silver and the necklace and bracelet set of Hearts with Zircon pave. They truly are gorgeous! I watched Loren's televised appearance like a dork and even took pictures on my camera. hehe I'm also excited to hear about the resulting press and news that she will be back on HSN soon to expand the collection but I think this will be all I get. My husband was amazed that I wanted them since I'm not a big jewelry fan with only a few better made items but nothing fancy.

Well, I'm off to celebrate a friend's birthday. Think I'll wear the Heart jewelry set tonight.
