Today's Date 11/11/11 Heralds A Time For Change
With the historic date of November 11th, 2011 there have been so many calls to action for change and this special numerical oddity has brought awareness to the world. Freedom seems to be the resounding word spoken by many lately, freedom of oppression, freedom of choice, freedom to speak, freedom to protest, and freedom to fight for a greater good and peace. My thoughts have been on my family's financial freedom and the actions and inaction I take to make that more successful. What did 11-11-11 mean to you?
In my own life, there have been significant challenges in our household and I haven't been as focused on growing my home business as I need to be. Sure, I've made some great new contacts recently that have promise and even a few new customers but they've come to me thanks to all of my marketing and referrals. I let my emotions get the best of me and get off track. I did however clean out my office which was therapeutic and a really big deal since I still have a ton of the old MA branded UnFranchise support materials that has to go. Our tools evolved so much that they're irrelevant and most of the stuff is digital or free downloads these days. If you want any "vintage" Market America audio or video TAPES, just let me know I still have a few classics for ya. hehe
The whole point of staying on track is because next week is the MarketAmerica|Shop.com North East Regional Convention in Springfield, MA. I've already volunteered to help staff the Motives booth which I'm excited about but honestly I should have new team members there with me and timing has been off for those that I've been prospecting. I look forward to meeting our new lead Motives trainer and seeing some familiar colleagues too. So many of them are on Facebook now that I'm sure to see a lot of them!
I do have a very busy week next week that I am sure will bear some fruit, let's just hope the weather is mild again all the way up to the Regional Convention...then the winds of change can usher in the joy of the holidays.
