Reasons To Check Out The Motives Ambition Mineral Collection

It's been a few weeks since I got the entire Ambition mineral line in stock from Motives. According to Loren's online training, she says that the Ambition line is completely paraben free and meant to be a collection within the Motives by Loren Ridinger line for those consumers looking specifically for a mineral line.

Many beauty shoppers are looking for a pro quality high pigmentation line of trendy cosmetics that are "natural" and mineral based, although people don't realize that pretty much all makeup is mineral based since that's where the color comes from. I love the post made by a celebrity makeup artist about all the buzz in "Mineral Makeup Hype". Read it and learn!

There are so many mineral brands flooding the marketplace that have poor grade product, boring colors or just have cheap looking packaging. Motives always has better quality and a nicer look at a competitive price. Makes me wonder how many loose mineral jars can one really have? Personally I can't stand loose powder for eye shadow and blush as it gets everywhere, even if I tap off excess or dampen the brush. And some of the product I've seen are so jazzy or glittery that they're only for the under 20-something crowd.

I have demo'd a few of the Ambition products and love their pigmentation and staying power. The lipsticks glide nicely onto the lip and have a nice finish, some makeup fans may prefer to top them with gloss for more depth but I think they're fine as is. The baked eye shadows are like velvet and the colors are gorgeous for almost any eye & hair combination. There are four blush and a few face powders in basic shades that flatter a variety of complexions. And these face powder compacts are less bulky and lighter than the original Motives line so they're great for tossing in my purse for touch ups. I'm a Beige which looks more tan online than it really is, by the way.

And I have to say that the Mineral Collagen Core Lipsticks are amazing! As a multifunctional product for smoothing, moisturizing and helping diminish lines on the lip, in four gorgeous colors this is sure to be a winner. I sold one as soon as I showed it to a salon owner who wanted it right then and there! (which is why I have a duplicate Sincere in the photos, I'm missing the Inspired)

I imagine that it probably takes regular use to get that collagen absorbed into the soft tissue of the lips but it feels light and creamy, looks great from the start with no heavy(edited) scent and is also enriched with botanicals and antioxidants. I looked around and see other brands at least $10 more than the Motives price! And I do believe from the online photos that the Motives Collagen Core is thicker than the others too and that competitors seem to be more serum based.

Right now I'm planning a Martini Mineral party in mid-October for the Ambition line and I will focus on only that and the new fall Nail Candy. Gotta mail out invites and gather up some of the team to do some planning. So if you love mineral makeup definitely check it out!

I sampled these Ambition products: Clockwise Left to Right) Entrepreneur, Visionary, Sincere collagen core, Fearless lipsticks; Intuitive blush and Baked Mineral Trio in Confident
