The Motives & Me Teen Program Can Create A Career Or Fundraiser Money For School
Young girls are just discovering makeup in middle and high school, still many aren't even allowed to wear it. They are influenced by their idols and celebrity favorites but stage makeup isn't practical or even attractive, especially if they imitate the drama of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry or Kesha, although I prefer the Taylor Swift glamour for them. I believe that with some mentoring that girls can achieve a natural or trendy look for themselves and their friends while avoiding wasted purchases on inferior or wrong products. I have let my own daughter wear eyeliner and some shadow in her middle school years while my youngest occasionally gets to wear some lip gloss. They even model for me too sometimes in class.

The teen program for retailing makeup from Motives is an educational one for makeup application and entrepreneurship for either gender. It's more of an apprentice program than just about sales and product, and yes, makeup is a lot of fun too! Teens that are looking for ways to make some money can utilize this creative program to build their beauty skills, generate extra money for themselves and raise funds for a club, cause or charity if they so choose. Some ambition is required since the sponsoring consultant is not their parent or boss, they must be coachable and have some goals in mind like that young gentleman pictured in one a newsletter earlier this year, whom is striving to create his mark as a trainer in the beauty industry with Motives.
With the increasing popularity of young beauty gurus appearing on YouTube these days making a beauty career for themselves with videos, it's possible for them to make money from their advertising links and from sales of product, as long as they follow the rules stating that they are associated with the brand and that they buy it themselves for product reviews. The Motives & Me program can be that vehicle without the hassle of juggling inventory or shipping since the company processes everything and all earnings are trackable in their account when viewers want to purchase. I suppose a 1099 would be issued for earnings over a certain amount for tax purposes. I'll have to ask my accountant about that to be sure.
All in all, I'm in the process of starting a new teen and hope to mentor her through the program to be a inspiring and successful young entrepreneur. This is only the beginning!
