Announcement: Motives Trainings Turned Into Open Motives Clinic
The Motives trainings and workshops that I had booked for July 9th & 10th, this upcoming weekend, have been cancelled and changed into a clinic that's still open to distributors and guests. I had been told the unfortunate news that my colleague, whom was leading the original events had to resign before the set dates. In an effort to "save" the trainings I was bringing in another trainer thanks to our corporate Director of Training but much to my disappointment our local leaders asked me to cancel.
So, since this is MY blog I will state how I feel.....I'm annoyed. Yeah so there's a big nutritional trainer coming the following weekend -which has nothing to do with Motives & I intend on going to, and the International Convention is less than 4 weeks away but I was taught to do events that lead into convention specifically for building momentum with my leads and this set of classes was perfect. Now I feel like the air got let out, again.
Instead, I'm keeping the Saturday time from 12pm-3pm for an Open House Skincare Clinic. I will demonstrate a skincare regimen based on our various brands to match a client's budget and needs. It's been a while since I have held an event but if that's how I have to build my business, on my own without local support, then so be it.
UPDATE 9/10: I am totally surprised that almost a dozen people showed up for the clinic! There were some that I expected of course but the other half expected Motives Trainings and did not contact me prior to register or inquire about the classes. They're senior partners just told them to come! Pre-Registration is required for all Motives trainings so that the trainer has enough handouts and seating! People MUST contact the MCT BEFORE class, we don't accept students at the door. Ugh!
That's not cool, if I had nothing going on then those people with their GUESTS would look like idiots and "I" would look like a bigger dope for not doing it since it was still posted on NMTSS and the Motives Trainings link. Just glad no one showed up this morning!!
