St. Patrick's Day Inspired Eye Makeup Look With Motives
Whether you're Irish or not, it's time to get your Green on!! St. Patty's is in two days and I was inspired by some makeup tutorials do create my own bright green look, using Motives by Loren Ridinger of course. Sowith a little bit of time this afternoon to myself I laid out my kit on the bed and got busy.
My heritage on my father's side has some Celtic combination of Irish, English, Scottish and Cherokee so I like to celebrate that tiny portion of my ancestry which comes from my maiden name of Montgomery. By the way, you can add Slavic and Philippine to the mix from my maternal side and just call me a walking melting pot. LOL
Here are a few photos of my look and the products in the master pro palette. The Motives brand brushes are pointing to the color that I used. The actual look is brighter than in the photos for whatever reason, I definitely need a new camera that takes really good close ups. My older daughter had to take the ones of my eyes, I couldn't do it myself even with a 5.0 pixel Kodak EasyShare.
I'm very pleased with the way the green eye makeup came out, I've always avoided bold greens, and blues too. You never want to do those wrong! haha All that I feel that I'm missing for this look is a shamrock or tiny gem accent in the inner corner. I'll have to look for one at the craft store to stick on with some lash glue.
