The Motives Pro Artist Program Is Actually Here!!
I'm so excited to get the news out about the much anticipated and long awaited Pro Makeup Artist program with Motives by Loren Ridinger cosmetics.Now I can partner with professionals while they retain their freedom to freelance and yet have exclusive access to the Motives brand. So many of the pros out there already have makeup kits, some of them are quite massive collections, so they don't want to start over with an entire Motives set up but I understood the need for this type of program a long time ago.
When I worked the booth at The Makeup Show NYC in 2009 with our team, I heard it from many of the MUAs there that they just wanted to add to their kits and not feel limited. I had also just done a series of advertisements for makeup artists to sell the Motives brand and heard the same feedback from dozens of interviews with them across the US.
So what do qualified pros get in this elite program?
- -Up to a 40 percent discount on all Motives cosmetics and Cellular Laboratories® and Skintelligence™ skincare products
- -Receive your own branded Motives cosmetics website, from which you can sell directly to clients and you receive the retail profit (motivesproartist.com/yourname
) - -Customer referrals from Motives customers looking for makeup artists
- -Market America and Motives will promote the makeup artist
That's right, the company will also promote the artist and send referrals for clients that are enrolled in the program. Motives needs to meet the public demand from all the great press and wants to use skilled artists for promoting the cosmetic and skincare collections so it's a triple win for the client, the pro and the company! I'm just speculating but the enrolled MUA will probably be required to have a kit or proof of some product to get those referrals most likely since the client is looking to see Motives and get it. I'm sure the program's been well thought out by Loren & the corporate team.
This fantastic new program requires current industry ID and an enrollment form with an annual membership fee for getting the 40% discount and website access that can even take client sales and earn the pro some extra cash. So as you can imagine, I'm in the process of reaching out to the industry contacts that I have made and letting them know about this wonderful new option available for them to stock up on Motives at the pro discount which can always be upgraded later down the line.
