Blog Milestone Contest For My Readers

Earlier today I noticed that this is going to be my 400th blog post! It's funny how I look back at 2003 when I just started web marketing for business and heard that blogging was "the thing to do" but I was totally unsure of where to start. Social Media was so new and back then everyone was coining terms that had to be explained...a blog is a "web log" or online journal of your experiences or random thoughts, etc... Today blogs are a core element to any web presence for many of the most famous personalities, major corporations, groups or small businesses.

While researching blogs I used to wonder why some people would bother to write about horribly mundane things, boring you to tears, then I'd find a music reviewer or poet or fictional writer or an insightful marketer. It was then that I found a purpose for blogs with the latest business tips or industry news and that's when it made sense for me to start my own blog and focus on a specific niche to write about. I've always been a notebook writer for learning, journaling so blogging was a natural step for me, except for the fact that it's indexed on search engines and open to the world wide web

Silly me kept requesting that MA have a blog every time I interacted with a internet services rep or when there was a distributor survey about the web development....and now look at all of the links on the webportal for corporate and Loren & JR, and let's not forget "micro-blogging" aka Twitter, they're addicted, LOL!

I should take a trip to Alexa.com and visit the "way back machine" to see if my site changes are cached but my URL was different then which was long before Market America had an Internet Policy. From the beginning one of my goals was to journal my activities and provide a spot for customers, prospects and colleagues to check out when they wanted more information about me and what I do, I'd like to think I'm accomplishing that. My evolution as an entrepreneur is laced throughout the entries and I must admit that I've come a long way.

So in honor of this momentous occasion I am hosting My First Contest for readers in the US to the most interesting response or comment to my question with a link to your own blog or social media page. A winner will be selected and notified by email, look for an announcement on Twitter December 1st. The deadline for entries is midnight November 30th.

The Question:
How has the One to One Marketing Adventures with Lisa Moffa blog inspired you?

The Answer:
Your reply with a link to your own blog or personal website or social profile.

The Prize:
One Motives Shadow Box (this magnetized palette to holds any metal-backed pan)

This amazing little palette does it all. Compact, with a see-through lid, stores any metal-backed pan in any size or shape. All Motives® by Loren Ridinger compacts have a tiny hole in the back, below the label. Stick a push-pin through the center of the label and voila – the metallic pan pops right out! Put a face powder, a blush, and a couple pressed eye shadows in your Shadow Box and you are ready to roll, wherever you go. (No annoying de-potting like other makeup brands!!)

    Hi Lisa,

Selling services or products on the internet is very much like putting on a broadway show. Entertain and give your your viewer/prospect something unique and memorable or you will have a flop.

Your "One to One Marketing Adventures" has reminded me to really work hard at out of the box thinking to capture the imagination and peak the interest of visitors to make a purchase of a product or service, tell a friend about it, and return again, and again.
