Learned So Much From The NE Regional Convention!

My head is so stuffed from business info and a bad cold that I'm not sure which one is making me dizzy with a headache! The North East Regional Convention was in Massachusetts this past weekend and I simply cannot get over how much great stuff is in the works for me and my fellow UnFranchise entrepreneurs, and our millions of preferred customers.

Where to begin?! I'll just start with how Market America is investing in more capital and resources into attaining better ranks in the Internet Marketing arena. The company is doing paid Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and will pay to be placed on sites to attract web shoppers. But what really amazes me is that JR Ridinger, the Founder & CEO of Market America Inc., announced at the regional that they are in contract to buy and absorb a top Comparison Shopping company with an existing customer base of 5 million shoppers that we will be acquiring into the Preferred Customer Program!!

Upon completion of the merger, there will be some changes for us as distributors such as being redesignated from Customer Managers to Shopping Consultants. These new MA customers will be matched up with a new lead generation matching tool, so if you are a colleague fill out that Profile Survey and get with the program!! This will enable the ultimate service and One to One Marketing with compatibility profiling.

There was a noticeable big push for everyone to learn Social Media from Steve Ashely and my senior partner was texting me to say that he wants me to put together a 2 hour Facebook 101 training for our team next weekend. I already have a basics of social media PowerPoint from last year that I can tweak with specifics for setting up a profile and positioning ourselves for marketing. I realized that I got easily distracted during that segment and then it occurred to me it's because I've been doing web marketing since 2003 and am way past that stage.

The new revenue generated from Advertising is projected to grow by leaps and bounds over the next several years. JR told us how MA is built for selling product while search engines like Google aren't, which is why Bing's Cash Back program failed. Market America's ability to be a conduit for web shopping is empowering the company to create new technologies and programs to expand search and get people paid for it too. 65% of the incoming revenue goes right back out to the field which is unheard of in the network marketing industry. A typical company would keep all that for the board members and corporation as bonuses but MA is converting it into IBV or secondary checks. Amazing.

Anyhow, our Director of Motives Training was looking pretty awesome... and trendy! She gave us the scoop on several new products and grooming kits with some tips for growing a Motives business. Unfortunately, Loren was not at the event and tweeted a TwitPic of her on set at Desperate Housewives to support her friend Eva Longoria, which I found out when I got home. The new mirror looks really glamorous and I can't wait to get it and have them on hand for clinics and workshops.

There were several fascinating Profiles of Success stories and business building tips from the top earners and Regional Challenge Winners, not to mention an inspiring segment by the legendary Frank Keefer but most inspiring was JR telling us what's going on. His explanation of what MA is doing to reach out to more customers and gain more recognition in the e-commerce world. I can't wait to see MA placed on websites and other Web 2.0 marketing techniques! I tried to get a clear picture of the eight pumps priming the webportal which all are aimed at increasing Cyber Leads and ulitmately more BV for commissions in the end.

Guess I'll post again about Conquer Entertainment and other news to share...
