My Latest Get Paid To Shop Experience For Office Supplies

As a traditional business owner, in addition to being a home business owner, office supplies are a regular monthly expense. I subscribe to several companies for newsletter & rewards like Office Depot, Office Max and Staples. So far Staples has been the most convenient, beneficial and money saving program that I've participated in.

Since Staples.com is a Market America webportal Partner Store with 2% Cash Back for shoppers, it makes sense to utilize those special offers and sales via the company Hot Deals link. They seem to always have Free Shipping on orders over $50 which is easy to do with ink and paper alone, plus they deliver the Next Day too. I love that! It takes me longer to find out what we need at the shop than to actually get the order.

Even though I do shop the store in town for last minute items, I have re-trained myself to plan to shop online for sales and to earn IBV commission points plus Cash Back directly from the company, which is always a deciding factor on where I spend my money. Some of the coupons or email offers from Staples are Online or Phone only so it totally makes sense to make that purchase via the webportal to get the deal and other benefits.

For instance, earlier this week we got a booklet with those Online or Phone deals from Staples with the featured offer being a free DVD player worth $89 for orders totaling over $150. I missed out on the previous offer for a portable video camera so I've been kicking myself over that one and made sure not to miss this one....after all, we must purchase these supplies on an ongoing basis so why not get a freebie out of it!!

So I placed the order around 1pm yesterday and the order arrived by 10am this morning, only one error with calculator paper which was my fault but when my hubby brings home the DVD player we'll hook it up and see if it's a decent unit. Next I must strategize the holiday shopping too. I wonder if the retailers will do what they did last year and start "Black Friday" sales in early November? With the economy still not in recovery mode yet I'm sure they'll be creative with their sales for the 2010 Holiday Season.
