Online Shopping Is Still On The Grow As E-retailers Get Their Websites Updated for 2010
The forecasts are starting to come in for the 2010 holiday gift shopping season while retailers are busy revamping their websites so their internet customers have a better shopping experience. If online shoppers can find what they want and at a price they are willing to pay then the predictions of major growth for e-commerce sales will surely come to pass. That's MA's latest catch phrase for the redesigned webportal ...."Bigger. Better. Faster. Easier."
Many of today's top designer brands are also establishing a better web presence, which they even spoke about on the recent tv show for Fashion's Night Out. The designers and merchants realize that their fans are online, following them on Twitter, "liking" Facebook pages and sharing the beauty, shopping and style tips with each other so it only makes sense for them to directly tap into this marketing phenomenon. Savvy Fashionistas can learn to stretch their budget even further with the MA Hot Deals for the latest discounts, Comparison Search for the best price/shipping and Cash Back program with Partners in the affiliate program such as Adriana Castro, Nordstrom, Macy's, Zappos and Hip Chick. I love browsing my favorite stores online to see exclusive offers or pricing.
A superb example of brand marketing is the Queen of Social Media, Kim Kardashian, with over 4.5 million followers on her own personal Twitter account and 2.3 million on Facebook! She actually takes time to post snapshots and updates on her daily life because it sells her image, tv show, jewelry, perfume, fashion and so much more that is intangible. She may be ridiculed by some of the media but I believe she is a genius and it will pay her residuals for years to come....and to top it off she's always blogging about the Ridingers, even had them on the reality tv series, and she's an actual Market America distributor!! She tweeted about MA and registered 17,000 customers in one week's time, now that's star power.
Speaking of Market America, the webportal had an overhaul at International Convention this past summer and another update is coming out tomorrow. Some speculations are that it's the highly demanded "Home Shopping List" made into an online version debuting on the site. For as long as I can remember, the company has had a paper version of a check box style shopping list with typical items people buy with the corresponding MA products or service on a duplicate page underneath the main page. It has been a great tool for teaching newbies and creating sales for customers that want to try something from the company but aren't sure which of the 2,500+ to order first. Visit the webportal to see if that's the sneak peek update.

Hi Lisa, Love your article. Exciting and informative blog. It has lots of background comments about Kadashian, surprise to see she actually really works hard at marketing herself, et al. And of course all the Motives Make-Up links. Impressed with the new trends, and use of fake eyelashes. I've been thinking about trying fake eyelashes, just for fun. Have great day.
