Motives Goes To Fashion's Night Out NYC!

All the Fashionistas are out in full force for Fashion Week and the Fashion's Night Out event kicked off the extravaganza! I live in New York so I see a lot of the local press and news features about the event but lately I've had to be more budget conscious than designer conscious. My wardrobe needs some fall updating with a few choice quality additions so I look forward to seeing the trends that will show up on the celebrities.

I'm especially interested in what Loren Ridinger did there to promote her amazing Loren Jewels and Motives. I watched and read all the press releases previously and loved seeing the buzz about her personal appearance all over Twitter. Since Loren is the creative director for Motives cosmetics, she had the line along with Cellular Laboratories skincare sponsor the event which were also included in Goodie Bags for attendees.

It's so exciting to see Loren and the brands I love to market and use personally at such a high profile event. New York City is the pulse of fashion for the world so there's sure to be a new level of awareness in the fashion & beauty industry about Loren Jewels, Motives & the skincare. I watched Twitter very closely that night and just saw the tv show hosted by Neil Patrick Harris tonight that gave a lot of great insight.....made me envy some of those shoppers that were interviewed. I really must go next year!

Anyhow, now that FNO is done and the designers are showing off their collections to the industry the next step is to see the published photos and articles pertaining to Loren & the brands. One of the Jersey Shore girls, Sammi, wore Loren Jewels on a stage or "white carpet" and so with that, plus Loren's half a dozen interviews, there should be plenty of publicity for us to check out as a result in the coming weeks. In the meantime, listen to a recent interview on BlogTalkRadio from Women On The Move with Loren up close & personal.

I hope to hear some success stories of people--and be one myself--gaining both new online and local customers and growing the business with new fashion minded partners that want to get paid to shop for their lifestyle habits, which is the ultimate goal. People like that tend to be a smart shoppers for stylish stuff....that's part of why I love Motives, I've get paid to have the best makeup artist kit on the market with top grade product and pro grade beauty tools!!

UPDATE: Just listened into a conference call for the Motives trainers and I can't wait to see the revamped Skincare 101 and new tools for business building and training. It has been a while since I conducted a skincare clinic partially because I've been distracted by the summer but that's no excuse, it's time to get focused again. Regional in Massachusetts is coming soon, November!!!
