Update On The Motives Overview Training In CT & My Transitions Overview Class

There was so much great info last weekend at the Motives training in Old Greenwich! I am so glad the I made it to two of the three classes & got to see our Lead Motives Trainer demonstrate how to promote the line & business. The third class was what I already do to certify consultants & I can get by without seeing that one. The Motives Overview is all updated with our new logo & collections that is a perfect presentation for any beauty professional or cosmetic minded entrepreneur, which was about 1 1/2 hrs long. And I love that the challenges of the beauty industry is a part of the info, such as there being no pensions or residuals & mentions the risks of quality issues of the marketplace. I had created my own generic powerpoint with these topics but I only used it twice, it was too generic & really needed Motives to showcase the solution to revenue creation.

I believe that this presentation for the beauty division will be key in launching the Motives opportunity even further in the beauty world. Its not online yet but I'm sure it's just a week or two before it's available for the field. My objective in the meantime is to create a portfolio in a binder that showcases our line, publicity & consultants in action at events with some potential earning info for salons, spas & beauty specialists & duplicate our audio for the salon opportunity featuring a salon owner & franchise expert that both have success incorporating our retailing system into their business as a lead into the Motives Overview.

The seminar that I attended had some beauty marketing throughout the day but really focused on the business fundamentals of learning how to run the UnFranchise system behind the products. I love it when a speaker gives the attendees real examples of how they met up with new partners & got them to understand the unlimited potential for growing their traditional business & minimizing the economic challenges that are facing today's salons by getting more than just retail profits on a sale & reaping the commissions.

My mind has been overloaded with all of this great Motives related info all week! Students & business partners have been asking me how it went so there has been a flurry of email & phone calls too. They want me to host a Motives Overview on Long Island & are hoping to attend the first one I book. I also plan to step it up in my area to approach salons or spas that are looking to boost revenue. If they aren't looking next(!) but if they are, and who isn't these days, then I will use my portfolio book to give them a ten minute teaser that will lead into booking the full version of the Motives Overview. Maybe I should predetermine some dates for group overviews? Sundays & Mondays are usually downtime for them so that will be a consideration.

(UPDATE 4/8!! Please note this Overview presentation is only available for the National Motives Trainers & NOT for the field to use on their own, look up the next event in your area via our national training system NMTSS)

Last night I hosted a weight management event that features Transitions Lifestyle System. It was an overview to give everyone an idea of what it's about and how Transitions focuses on body fat loss so that losing 20 lbs. looks like 40 lbs. of weight loss. I did it a few years ago but got lazy & need a class to get me on track again & help my husband lose his gut which is not a love-handle anymore, it's a solid mass of pre-heart attack signals.....and my belly is round too and I want to look better since Motives is about beauty & trendy clothes don't look cool with my tummy.

I'm sure that using Transitions & eating low glycemic will help with my acne prone skin too & lessen my occasional breakouts that makes me use up a lot of the Timeless Prescription acne system & AHA Peel. I'll also need less coverage from the Custom Blend Foundation although I absolutely LOVE the new Liquid Mineral to Powder Foundation & plan to wear it more, it's like silk on the skin, gives great coverage & adheres all day!

We're aiming at starting the class after Easter since it's also Spring Recess & hosting a class will be chaos since the kids have ten days off due to Passover & Easter being so close together and I'm one of the few with younger kids. At least I'll get to have some goodies from the bunny's gift baskets before committing to the system. Okay, I'm off to do some dinner prep & goal setting to so that I stay on track with everything....more later.
