Okay, next week is the 16th annual internatinal convention and I'm finally getting my act together. Its been tough trying to figure out how and when I'm going to NC, the plan now is to drive down and visit family in Charlotte and I'll scoot over to Greensboro for a few days. I can't stay the whole convention because we have a memorial planned for my mother-in-law. She had passed away in January, just before Leadership School, and she was cremated so that we could bring her back to NY for a scattering at sea.

The new issue of our trade magazine Powerline came in the mail Saturday and its usually full of convention stuff but I only saw one half page of a scheduled overview. There have been several voicemails with details to get some more excitement going and I do look forward to the new internet releases for our portal. The buzz is that Motives will have 30 new products introduced too!! I bet they're going to be gorgeous! We'll also get to preview the 2008 Fall/Winter collection among the intros. The fashion mags are forecasting plums, grays and wines for fall so we'll have to see what MA's got up their sleeve.

I just confirmed a reservation at Holiday Inn Express so at least I know I have a room, although I can still cancel at this point and crash with someone to save some moola. I'll have to see what the team is doing, I know many are staying at the Best Western but I haven't spoken to Bill or Matt about who's needing a roomie and I don't want to make promises I may not be able to keep.

Today, I'm off to DMV again it was totally packed yesterday and I had the girls with me so I had to leave with 50 people ahead of me. I'll run over to Walmart too, maybe Target because I have to return a few items we picked up shopping yesterday for school stuff. Didn't realize I had a duplicate of something and the bermuda shorts weren't stretchy and are fake drawstring so they suck and are going back. Later!
