Making Money With MA's Chatterbox & Business Model

Some people have asked me how I'm going to make money from Market America's new MA Chatterbox social media network. And the answer is to gain customers that will shop our site and its partners which creates product sales and commissions and hopefully new team partners that want to capitalize on the company's marketing plan. The point to our Social Media(SM) is to get traffic and keep that traffic with the service. SM is very interactive, habitual and fun, so if you are into people watching or like telling others about yourself, its going to keep you coming back for more.

I have to say that I've been sickeningly shy most of my life but I've grown more comfortable in my own skin as I've gotten older. I still have a reserved way about me and am typically quiet and observant among new people or social situations but once I warm up to someone they are amazed at how my personality emerges. Some friends are amazed that I know what I know, especially all this online marketing stuff and have many "online friends" since I tend to be a homebody. I'm just glad I don't have a "crack-berry" because then I'd really be in trouble!

Anyhow, SM is very community minded and it brings all sorts of lifestyles and backgrounds together so I hope the SM writers for maChatterbox can tap into the right topics to feature as threads for conversation. That page definitely needs more of a range. I even posted a link on Twitter to appeal to the SM writers and other industry pros that could spread the word.

I am not sure what kind of welcoming(if any) that the new maChatterbox users get from corporate. I know that if they go thru my links then I get the customer so its my duty to contact them, typically via email, to notify them of my services but whenever I self-register for a service I get an auto-responder greeting. Guess I need to create a new email for that audience because I'm sure that they don't realize that the maRewards for shopping is available to them and statistics say that over 57 million Americans read blogs & around 51% of blog readers are online shoppers. That's where MA's products and services come in plus our thousands of partners. (corrected stats to be accurate, see blogworldexpo.com)

2008 International Convention is only three weeks away!! There's sure to be a ton of new info and the field is anticipating an update on the Google partnership for the ultimate search comparison tool they're making for us. Its gonna be an awesome couple of days. One thing I really hope JR addresses is advertising. Seeing the new Amway/Quixtar commercial running on tv has gotten under my skin. I so wish that we could do that too and hope its part of the plan.
