Excellent Weekend for Motives Parties & Training
Today was the Spring Level II class for Motives Makeup Application & Technique. There were a couple of professional makeup artists in attendance and wow did they have some awesome tips to share!! I think that its great how open the makeup artists that I've come to know are, they must have free spirits or something which is probably why they love making the world a more beautiful place with makeup.
As we went thru the day they had a lot to say about how they plan to use Motives and how impressed they are with the quality of our trainings and they just absolutely love our product selection and colors. One thing I think they see is that Motives is made to be as professional as the big brands and easy enough for someone to hand out a catalog or just shop online. Its our extra service to provide the customer with tips or application for helping them customize their best look and to troubleshoot skincare concerns with recommendations which MUA's can charge for....and make the retail sale instead of losing customers to the beauty counter or dept. store companies.
Either way you slice it, the beauty professional earns retail, commissions and bonuses while creating loyalty in their client because the custom products are only available thru their Motives Consultant. Now they'll have a customer for life, especially if they get them on OPC-3 to keep them healthy & earn a retirement income thanks to residuals and really be free to work at their own pace!! That is true "free-lancing" if ya ask me!
Yesterday I had a Motives Party in Western Suffolk Cty and the host had a great turnout. I had planned to be there for two & a half hours tops but everyone wanted a makeover!! I must've done 5 women!! And they all liked my work, thank goodness. One lady had these hazel blue-gray-greenish eyes that made me to a do-over. I tried to do her eyes like you'd do a blue eye but it didn't work. She was better off with lighter colors and was happy with the results. I have 3 orders to process......
So I gotta process those & do some paperwork to send off to corporate......then its dinnertime!!
