I don't know what happened, but since last weekend its been one thing after another. The girls are off from school this week on top of everything and I feel kinda bad because we haven't gone anywhere like a park or museum or show yet. Its Thursday so I'd better think of something!
 
Last Saturday I did a Motives Party in Yaphank and met up with a few of our new team members out there, must've been at least 15-20 people including the guys that showed up a little later. None of the guys tried any Motives on, oh well, one lady had a full makeup application while a few others just wanted the Custom Minerals. I made a few decent bucks and got the newbies to pick stuff out for themselves PLUS I've got three new dates for Motives Parties!! Whoo Hoo!

Then, I taught my Level I on Sunday and had a single student, she's a makeup artist that has to learn about how to incorporate Motives into her craft. She & I had lots of Q & A and she gave me some great info too about how MUA's do business. She loves our collection and just needs to learn the benefits and features of all of the MA skincare lines. Her main point of interest was if they were cruelty-free, non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic, which they all are thankfully. She LOVED the Custom Mineral Brush loaded with Gold Dust Shimmer Powder and some color mixed in!

As the week has progressed I got a call for a bride that needs custom makeup for her wedding this Sunday!!! We met yesterday and I spent about three hours with her mixing up several custom minerals and selecting products. I gave her a lesson on how to apply it to herself since she's doing her own makeup that day and was a joy to chat with too. You always find out a lot of interesting things about people when they get in that director's chair. I like her and told her that she'd better have pictures the next time I run into her. hehe

This weekend I've got a vendor table at the Spring Festival near my husband's shop. I'm not even packed for it yet!! I really have to make a checklist and package up some quick sellers for easy shopping. I know that many people be browsing for pocket money items for Mother's Day and I want to have a few ready-made gifts for that.

So if I'm getting out with our girls, I'd better hop to it and do that today, there isn't much prep time left!! Ugh!
