Recently I've been watching some DVD's about the movie "The Secret" and some positive programming to help me move forward. I watched some of "The Secret" again and a follow up from Joe Vitale called "The Missing Secret" which really is some powerful info that leads into his book "Zero Limits". I also watched a subliminal DVD that he is part creator for too. It taught me some excellent clearing techniques. The one on releasing fear really got me to jump into being a trainer last year, I was so afraid of booking the dates with corporate and then I watched it and the next day, without thinking about it I just logged in and submitted my dates.

The new DVD was for Attracting Wealth and releasing old concepts that aren't helping me anymore and brings a new awareness of what I really consider "wealth" to actually be. It got me thinking more about the way I identify myself and how I perceive success. For instance, over the years I've always called myself "the artist without any artwork" because I haven't done any significant pieces since high school days. The last acrylic painting I did was of Joan Jett circa 1990 and I didn't finish the background, her face and body and guitar are done but the multi-colored background just didn't get done. I didn't count the jewelry making and desktop ads that I've done since I considered artwork framable pieces that have been drawn or painted. I realize now that I kept using that as a description of myself which then limited me from picking art up again or even acknowledging the creativity I did do.

Things like that are awakening my outlook on where I'm at right now and where I want to go from here too. This process seems to be picking up momentum as I'm re-connecting with former passions and interests...and people from those days. I have been feeling alone lately and they recognized me as I visited old haunts. It felt good to see people that I admire for being spiritually open & to actually feel that rekindling of old friendships was nice too.

I renewed a membership to that special organization and am going to get a booth at their Spring Festival for the last Sunday in April. Its a little pricey for me right now but I have faith that I will sell alot of Motives Custom Mineral Powders to recoup the fee and get my old network of friends acquainted with what I'm doing with Market America, they know me from my handmade jewelry days. I bet they'll love the Anti-aging products since the group is a wellness minded bunch of eclectic souls.

With the torrential rain last night of over 2", I'm so glad that I got myself over there to the meeting because I'm sure more people would've showed up and then I really wouldn't have been able to get in since it was already "standing room only" when I arrived. It was well worth the 3 1/2 hours to hear the speakers and catch up with friends afterwards. And they said how the weather made the people that were true to their interest show up over the general public.

The night before that I had gone to a Holistic Moms meeting up in Oyster Bay to hear a Naturopath's lecture. It was great to see that group of moms, I had missed the last two meetings prior due to other obligations. Actually I was in Miami for Leadership School last month so I wasn't even around. They're having a Mother's Day meeting in May and want holistic themed donations for door prizes and raffles. I'm thinking of making an Anti-aging & Wellness basket or write out a Gift Certificate for the MA catalog. We'll see as time gets closer......which it is, gotta Spring ahead tonight!!! Ugh, less sleep, but at least the weather will get milder and we can get outdoors more often.
