I was browsing our webportal and found a rundown of the newly implemented maRewards points system for Preferred Customers that can only be redeemed via the corporate support team. Its my understanding that the points are accrued from any purchases made online at the webportal or via a distributor manually entered sales receipt into the database.

This revised reward system looks like its really going to encourage a lot more customers to log in & use their ID's when they shop on the site to ensure credit toward points. They don't get a discount anymore on product but the free product redemption or cashback option gives them a better incentive to shop online and use our Partner Store links too.

Longtime MA customers that are direct sales for product still have the distributor's discretion as to whether they continue a 5 or 10 percent discount. We're a network of independent distributors so its up to each one for on-the-spot sales & there's a standard online price with the new reward points. Some people just don't like to shop online anyhow, even though the security encryption for credit cards is far superior than it used to be when e-commerce was relatively new.

I like to give my direct sales customers a few dollars off at a home party or when they've come back to reorder, but then sometimes I give them a free book or support item, like a branded cup or publication, that goes with the products they use. Even my online customers get an occassional extra from me with a personal note which they appreciate since ordering online usually doesn't get a personal follow up. Now that's One-to-One Marketing at its best!

How do I redeem my Ma Rewards Points for cash?

Cash redemption is handled by our Preferred Customer Support center. Just call 1-800-264-6950 to speak with one of our representatives. Points may be redeemed for cash at the following levels: USA 5,000 Points: $25.00 US 10,000 Points: $75.00 US 15,000 Points: $130.00 US 25,000 Points: $250.00 US Canada 5,000 Points: $25.00 CAN 10,000 Points: $75.00 CAN 15,000 Points: $130.00 CAN 25,000 Points: $250.00 CAN

Afterthought: I edited a few wordings above for clarity and thought to let you know where to find this info. The above points system can be located in the "YourAccount" link while logged in as a PC. Click on the last service listed for "maRewards Redemtion" to see product point values then click on the link for "Cash Redemption"to see these cashback values. Its better to get free product since most product values start around 1000 pts. & up.
 
At this time the points info for maRewards is only posted here and not on the main Preferred Customer Program page. I've already inquired to corporate and also think its important to promote this for the holiday shopping season.

As of today corporate announced that there isn't a cash redemption option for maRewards, only free stuff.
