Lots of Familiar Faces Last Night for Steve
It was a full house at the services for Steve Seigh. I went to the later service with my hubby and got to catch up with some people that I haven't seen in years. There were so many picture collages of Steve with his family, on adventures, special events and of course with the Market America crew. One of the distributors is a pastor at a big church around here, he was addressing the room as we arrived. He and one of my team leaders Rick, are both church pastors although I think Sam has a massive following, everyone on Long Island knows where his church is.
One framed picture had Steve with JR Ridinger, MA's founder & CEO, at a table in the early days, it was a great close-up of them together. And there were several other shots of him with various MA pioneers at gatherings. Felt like a photo montage of MA history. Its amazing how many of those beginners are still with the company today, and some make way more than others. So its not all about being "first" in because they still have to balance the binary organizations to strategize their income potential. Probably have over two dozen "Re-entries" to succeed like that.
My hubby just called, he's so shaken up right now, poor guy. An MTA bus just ran over a man on his bicycle at the intersection infront of our shop. He's got emergency crews & cops all over the place and when he called to tell me, the bus was still ontop of the accident victim. He only heard the accident initially as he was on the phone talking to a customer then looked up to see the bus locking up the tires and someone under it.
We were just wondering earlier this week about "who's next?" to go, when someone dies we really do seem to experience the trinity of people dying. Not sure why it happens in "three's"? Always ends up being someone's family member or a customer from our shop or just someone that we associate with. Like earlier this week besides Steve, one of the Auto Part's friend's mother passed away. This accident infront of the shop is way too scary though. Makes you think about how blessed you really are, even with stress! Life can change in seconds.......literally.
Gotta finish my errands so that I can have a Long Island Iced Tea with my sweetie when he comes home in about an hour......give someone you know a big hug this weekend...just because!!
