Doing lots of day-before prep around the house and setting up my Motives display table today. I'm having a bunch of people over tomorrow to showcase the new Moroccan Nights Collection. I'm having fun taking pictures of the set up and will post some closeups when I get the chance.

I put together a Motives Mineral Collection Special to mirror the kits I've seen from Ulta & Sephora. While researching their stuff I noticed that our containers for the powders are larger, actually by 2 grams!! We've got  11 oz. containers of product while they offer 8.5-9g containers. Pricing is better too.

My table has a lot of black & silver decor with some really cool plastic plates I recently picked up from Target that had silver flecks within the black plate, looks really cool. And I placed them over a silver scalloped charger, well its really cardboard from the party store but its meant to go under a bowl or something. Cheap enough under a $1 and gives nice contrast to the black tablecloth and product display.

My mineral tray set up has some actual gemstone specimens on there from my own rock collection. Looks cool and gives the natural mineral edge to it. I saw that at the HBA show in a glass case with mineral powders. I was looking for more earthy browns but I seem to have more clear quartz & amethysts in the larger sizes. They're around somewhere, but this looks really nice and will do just fine.

In addition to this going on....I had a Lions Dinner last night and tonight is our local club's season opening too. I just haven't had much time at night for the kids and their Dad or brother have had to get homework, baths & dinner squared away. They did good and all is well but its been hard getting us all up in the morning on time. Hopefully next week will be less hectic and more peaceful. Yeah right.........We need a break!!
