Working The Law of Attraction For Home Business Growth
There are so many "gurus" out there nowadays promoting The Law of Attraction, its getting to be too much for me to take. I'm an information person and like to explore things by browsing links or Googling terms. But how many experts should someone really listen to? I like the main speakers from the movie "The Secret" like Joe Vitale & Bob Proctor, along with the Hick's who reportedly originated the theory. The latest book they wrote is good and helped me crystallize things while explaining Universal Laws. I'm almost done with it and have the "Ask & It Is Given" to follow that up with.
Lately I've seen so many people jump on the bandwagon with their own e-book or program to download and received scores of new joint venture email promotions ("JV's"). They all claim to be succeeding (and implying wealth) thanks to implementation of the Universal Laws. Sure go ahead---give them your info, pay a few bucks for their product and get more promos from their friends too. Gets overwhelming and unbelievable, while the only thing you're "attracting" is more promos. So I have limited myself to the endless list of coaches and groups that keep popping up on networking sites like Meetup.com by sticking to the movie/books and main speakers.
My challenge has been to grow my sales organization in Market America and I'm finally discovering how to use The Law of Attraction for this purpose. I'm totally not into going through my Names List or doing Cold Calls, its so not me and so full of rejection. I don't want to make people cringe when I call or run into them because I'll only be full of MA prospecting lingo and not enjoy the relationships I have. And I don't want to milk them for referrals either & just make sure they know about my services & resources for shopping in a casual manner.
I really want to partner with people who are looking for what MA has to offer which is a powerful home business that's ethical & pays people to help each other better themselves, whether it be for health reasons or financial independence and teach them how buying & shopping for things they already get daily can earn them secondary income on top of that. Better than rebates anyday because its residual!
Ya know, I've been retailing product for a while now, over 2 years, using this attraction theory without naming it by just focusing on my target markets. I did my own Sales & Marketing research, ordered a few training programs and attended some classes to learn what I felt is missing from MA and NM in general, now I have a great bunch of customers who want their stuff without me pressuring them to re-order.
Basically, I researched the nuts & bolts of self-promoting and customer service. We're taught the "Basic Five" fundamentals of MA's system but the internet is a new domain for the company and it should be examined and utilized for business management, development & expansion too since we evolved into an "internet based" marketing company. The current system is great for volume strategizing and helping to analyze where to place extra volume so that more folks get paid but I'd like more tools to help send the team training info or make notes about distributors that are "GoNows" and see their specialties in a profile of some sort---since I'm wishing for things---LOL!! Guess I can request it when I have a larger organization.
Finding a way to attract new business partners online is something I've been analyzing for a while now and have only found a few possible fragmented solutions but nothing that got more than one or two people to sign up. Some team mates had memberships to network marketing prospecting sites that hosted a page promoting the "financial freedom" dream but it didn't grab me and all they did was chase leads. I felt that certain core information was missing and that my leads would get gobbled up by their system and was way too MLM minded.
Right now I'm checking out a few options to get through to the masses and will see which works best for me & my plans. I do think that MA is developing something like that...who knows when they'd release it. Can't wait...its like waiting for Voitel---two years later! I'd be happy with just a link on the homepage for people to submit their info saying they want to be a distributor and here are the options, although some explaining is definitely necessary for the specialties. It probably could be just that simple but then a follow up system is still needed and right now that's up to the independent UnFranchise owner to devise and index cards or folders don't cut it for me.
The downside of a home business info link like that would be people choosing to be Sales Reps for $0 which has almost no benefit, just retail profits. Maybe a video would help explain the reasoning, like the Brilliant Compensation video. We do have our own DVD's for that. The financial potential is in the plan and that's the power of Network Marketing that veterans of the industry easily understand. Newbies to Direct Sales probably wouldn't opt for the $99.95 to get started and go for minimal cash outlay when given the choice. Ya can't blame them with high industry drop out rates, at least our retention rate is over 60% last I heard---that's like double many other companies. Gotta look at the Financial Report again to see what 2006 numbers really are.
Let's see what happens in the coming weeks...I'll be sure to announce my findings here. Stay tuned.

Nobody can do everything. As your business grows you will need to outsource some of the work. You could hire employees but those ongoing costs can eat up a lot of capital. What if you need a certain task this employee does not know how to do? Do it yourself or train them and there goes the time you wanted to save. Like you don’ t have enough to do.
