Can Men Really Be A New Market for Motives With "Guyliner"??

Hey-I've got a new target market for Motives Cosmetics Black Eyeliner!! There were two different articles online today about men and makeup, specifically for the eye area. Now I can see the one point for grooming and using brow gel to tame those man-brows and even skincare to have a nice complexion...but eyeliner too??!!

Here's a link to the article that is really about the eyeliner/"Guyliner" trend that's going on mostly due to the popularity of Johnny Depp's Capt. Jack Sparrow and his heavy smokey eye look. I can see this just as a compliment to the movie and how everyone loves copying what they love....even though its a big stretch for mainstream America.

The next link is more about taming brows, general grooming and concealer & powder, yes, it seems that covering up those imperfections & controlling oil is a new focus for today's hotties. The term "metro-sexual" has been popularized with the increase of guys being more self-aware of their skin and appearance. I haven't even tried to promote Market America's skincare, personal care and now makeup to the fellas. Although my male teammates ask questions now that I think about it. I bet this trend mainly for the under 30 crowd although there's no mention of age ranges.

Sounds like a Timeless Men's Skincare Clinic with makeup tips is something to conjure up....hmmm. It may actually do well here in New York or even in California, not sure about anywhere else though.

6/7: Found a YouTube video making the rounds about rocker Pete Wentz and his "Guyliner" lesson in a People magazine interview.......looks like its more of a Y-Generation thing, unless you're a rocker or a queen, but its still a trend and making news.
