Shopping For The Yard & Garden Decor
Its been fun clicking around the site shopping for stuff for the garden! Gets me into fixing up a few of the spots around the yard that need touch ups. I spent Mother's Day weekend cleaning out an old flower bed that needs a major update. The landscape fabric was showing through and the wood mulch was all over. Now I've got a design to put flowers and greenery around the mini bird bath for more pizazz.
There are some great partners for gardeners to check out, many of them I already got catalogs from before they were MA partners!! The ones I like most are Gardeners Supply Company with lots of natural/organic minded gear and Plow & Hearth too, then I browsed the yard decor with Terry's Village & Lillian Vernon, plus there are seed & nursery companies like Dutch Gardens, Gardens Alive, Henry Fields, Jackson & Perkins, Michigan Bulb, Master Gardening, Smith & Hawken & Spring Hill Nurseries. Not even counting the usual faves of Target and Walmart for yard and patio stuff!!
I was even toying with the idea of a trampoline for the kids. Our cousins down South have a large one and together they all had a blast...with no one getting hurt either. I like the netting with cushioned poles too. It could help pass the summer since we don't have a pool or plan on getting one since we'll be selling the house. Our yard is about a half an acre so I've got plenty of room for it and a trampoline is portable. We'll see...
