From Now On Every Thursday Is Motives Day
That's it! I declare every Thursday as Motives Day!! If I don't plan it then it won't happen right? So, here's the plan. From now on, I am designating my time to growing Motives with regular clinics, parties, beauty basics, overviews and whatever else you want to call them.
I'm officially a Senior Consultant!! No certificate yet but I looked it up in our national training system and my name is finally listed as a Senior. It took me three years but I wasn't committed at first so getting signatures for the forms wasn't done when I had the chance and then I had to do enough consultations and clinics to fulfill the requirements. Whew!
Since I've got a home office I can do a small thing for 3 or 4 people or just take over the living room and dining room to host a larger gathering. I've read about Motives Cocktail parties and think that sounds like a great way to have a social retail event......don't know about the "cocktail" part though. Maybe just simple wine or malt liquors but maybe they mean healthy cocktails.....gotta find out.
I can team up with my local distributors to maximize our turnouts and even open it up once I get more confidant. That way I "keep moving forward". The Motives Challenge may be within reach too! I have until July for that. Not much time if things are happening weekly, but then a plan will make the difference for sure.
BTW--just told my hubby and he's fine with that, need a sitter though since that's his personal training night, forgot about that. Anyway, he notified me that Tuesdays are now his late afternoon Golf days with a buddy.....haha

After some feedback from our group, it seems that another night may be better. Mondays came up as a possibility since salons are closed those days and we could have beauty pros attend as guests. Hmmm. I'm not sure about that but one or two days a month can't hurt......it still is a date to plan and invite for.
Thursdays will be good for consults, phone conferences and training each other for the group retail events, because I still have to work it for myself to go for the challenge. Can't be silly and wait around for our team, espcially if no one shows up! Let's see how this plays out...........persistant, continuous result producing action!!
