More Action & Progress Happening Already

I don't read that many emails from my favorite site authors except for a select few, unless the title is of interest. These past few days I've had several show up exactly about what I've been working on, which is more action to move my business forward and asking for what I want. I've been clarifying what it is I do want with new affirmations and goals...and taking steps to get there.

But getting back to the email topics, one was from a Ryze network leader about the Secret and is doing an aftermarket promo to sell follow up tools from the speakers featured in the movie. Her email was an excerpt about "ASKING" and about two pages long. I made it a document to print off and read to myself so that I can reinforce the fact that its how business happens, ask for the appt.; ask for the sale; ask for the interview; just ask!!

Another one that I opened was from Joe Vitale, he writes his emails like a blog entry but they're really promos for his joint venture partners or new books, seminars, and sometimes just a good idea or story that he needs to share. He had a big part in the Secret movie too but I've been a fan of his for a few years now. That email from him expanded on the other one I just mentioned by determining what you want.

And today, Perry Marshall sent out one that separates the wheat from the chaff titled "Wanna-be's Vs. Entrepreneurs"...since its a marketing email I don't know if he'd mind me posting it here. I just wonder if he's the author of this listing of differences?? Well, if anyone knows please share it with me.

Here it is:
Wanna-be's vs. Entrepreneurs

Twelve differences between those who dream and those who act:

1-Wanna-be's obsess about ideas.  Entrepreneurs obsess about
implementation.

2-Wanna-be's want more web traffic.  Entrepreneurs focus on sales
conversion.

3-Wanna-be's focus on positive thinking.  Entrepreneurs plan for
multiple contingencies.

4-Wanna-be's want to get on TV and get "famous."  Entrepreneurs
build their list.

5-Wanna-be's seek a perfect plan.  Entrepreneurs execute and
adjust the plan later.

6-Wanna-be's wait for their lucky break.  Entrepreneurs engineer
four, five, six plans and execute them in tandem, wagering that
at least one plan will get traction.

7-Wanna-be's fear looking stupid in front of their friends.
Entrepreneurs willingly risk making fools of themselves, knowing
that long-term success is a good trade for short-term loss of
dignity.

8-Wanna-be's shield their precious ideas from harsh reality,
postponing the verdict of success or failure until 'someday.'
Entrepreneurs expose their ideas to cold reality as soon as
reasonably possible.

9-Wanna-be's put off practicing basketball until they've got Air
Jordans. Entrepreneurs practice barefoot behind the garage.

10-Wanna-be's believe what they're told, believe their own
assumptions.  Entrepreneurs do original research and determine
what paths have been already trod.

11-Wanna-be's believe they can do anything.  Entrepreneurs do
what they're gifted for and delegate the rest.

12-Wanna-be's think about the world in terms of COULD and
SHOULD.  Entrepreneurs think in terms of IS and CAN BE.

This makes me examine not only myself but also my business partners and how they run their businesses. I see the way my husband runs his auto repair shop and he's 100% in the entrepreneur list but it took time. I also understand how approaching my business activities needs to be changed and thank goodness I've started implementing those much needed changes already.........just gotta be consistent!!
