New Brochures Still Forthcoming

Not much going on with those new support materials. I just ordered a few of the updated catalogs since many of the nutritional brochures are not even listed. I'd like to get the old ones just to get something back in stock for customer followup. Should I resort to photocopies?? Not. Even a downloadable page would make me happy, but only a handful of items have that available. I'm gonna have to wait like everyone else.

MA needs to separate the Health & Nutrition product lines into a catalog of its own, like Motives. These Mall Talks are getting too large and its on high quality paper so its thick and heavy, which is more expensive to meter at the Post Office. I don't know anyone that does large mailings with these, it would be silly and wasteful. They should only be given to Preferred Customers or attendees at a Product Preview, Beauty Clinic, or some other promotional event or sale. Although I must say, they do make for beautiful coffee table magazines.

The Motives catalog will soon carry the skincare lines in there too for a more complete beauty catalog. Makeup and skincare go together and I'm glad that it is already in the works. Between the Skintelligence Collection, the VItaShield Collection and the extensive Timeless Prescriptions Collection it will be nice to showcase them in one location like we do at a clinic.

When I attended the Motives trainings in Miami last month I was really impressed with the changes for this division that corporate has plans to implement this year and the way we present the cosmetics in general. The Motives cosmetics was always more of a specialized area that required certification and the new plan is to open it up to the population of distributors. We are marketers so it should be just another division to offer to our customers without all these hoops to jump through. And when JLo comes out with her stuff, it will open the floodgates to the public and more of us will need to be knowledgeable.

I love information, I like doing the extra things or attending the special classes to learn the more in depth material but an average MA distributor focuses on OPC-3 or the whole Isotonix line and the rest of our 800 plus items are available but not generally promoted. That's where "solution-based marketing" comes in, so if we listen to someone having a challenge then we can make a recommendation, BUT some people aren't even aware of that.

Today I have to get to the Post Office and mail out the info kits. Tomorrow we're heading to North Carolina for a family event so it must get done now. If you need a catalog and I haven't sent one, please contact me, although the website actually has everything that's currently available with more data and labels are finally being uploaded for ingredients. Its really better online than on paper.

Okay. Maybe I'll write more later....
