Its Been A Productive Week
These past few days have been testing my skills for sure! I had a full consultation, a follow up with a team member's possibility and attended our monthly business briefing right here in town. This is something I'd like
to keep going and must stay busy. I want to work 3 nights a week to get more productivity into my schedule.
I started on Sunday with a full consultation on a former makeup artist and current beauty industry executive...and wife of a friend. She was amazed that I matched her skintone with our Motives Custom Blend foundation, she's very fair and needed more lightener than a typical formulation. She also liked the makeup colors I used and said it was similar to what she would do for herself. The Mineral Blush powder Pure Silk was a nice touch along with a few warm browns on her eyes with brown mascara and Suede eyeliner. For her lips we used the new hi-color Red My Lips---she loved it and requested one as soon as I applied it. Then I gave her tips on using different colored lipliner under the lipstick for a different look since the holographic particles will amplify that and change the color. I have to send her a thank-you, she gave me lots of tips while we talked about makeup artistry, husbands and kids too.
Then on Monday I met with one of my personally sponsored people and her prospect for the business. I wanted to clarify what we expect and define our business activities. He was very coachable and understood the nature of the business... I think he'll do well but will start him at a later date. Timing is an issue for him and that's okay, we'll keep him plugged in and hopefully get to meet with his friends that are suffering in another company. The biggest concern he has is this one friend with MS that NEEDS OPC-3...so many people have gotten their health turned around with our super antioxidant. They also use B-12 for energy and Aloe for healing with MS folks or so I've heard.
I also showed this fella how we build versus MLM, you know...no end of the month sales quota, no levels or cutoffs and no percentages--we get full value of all volume. But what really got him going was how he can open up Global Centers eventually and use his Asian connections from the airline industry to grow his business. That got him excited.
And on Tuesday it was time for our monthly Suffolk County meeting. I actually arrived on time and had time to chat with Rick Hannon prior to the start. I had wished him a HNY via email and he came right over to say hi. He also mentioned that due to my request we'll be having a coring at the end of the month for our team with a lesson on prospecting...how to start conversations to make contacts and see if they qualify for our business. My team mates leaked the scoop to him that I plan to go for Motives Trainer and that lit him up. He's happy to see people take big steps like that and will assist as best he can, as always, but then he'll be off to Australia again for a few months after Leadership School in February.
Hey-I was just noticing how my calendar is getting all booked up for the next 3 months!! Almost every weekend has a business or personal event that must be attended too. Some these are for Motives but I must schedule in clinics and have time for a weekend getaway with family to the Poconos which we've been trying to do. This is when Time Management skills become very important.....still gotta organize the house and put away the holiday decorations......and prepare to move. Ugh! haha, its all good. Really.
PS--This week finished with me showing the business opportunity again to another person...man was she a challenge!, and getting updates from a few customers. One lady has had such great results with Transitions that she's got half a dozen people ordering kits and losing between 20-30 pounds each!! Its great to hear such wonderful testimonials and learn about people getting healthier with our products. Gives me more motivation to keep growing!!!
