The NE Regional Convention Kicked Butt!!

Wow!!! What an amazing convention up in Providence this past weekend. There were so many distributors from everywhere in the Northeast and a few from PA and Canada. I saw some license plates from Maryland and Jersey too. And I know people come from all corners of the country to see this event because its the biggest region in the company and we made number one region of the year too!

The trainings were non-stop and we got great info on how-to implement better one to one marketing techniques. And I have to send out a big tremendous "thank you" to Kevin Buckman for his awesome opening on Friday and the incredibly passionate heart-felt segment on Saturday morning. He just has an intense way of spelling out EXACTLY what needs to be done to achieve our goals and truly "work" the UnFranchise. I always love hearing his particular way of letting distributors know that corporate, himself specifically, knows who is and isn't seriously taking care of business or using the materials and tools they develop for us.

And Marc Ashley, MA's Chief-Operating-Officer(COO), was so energizing,  he spoke about where the company came from and the phenomenal effort the company is making to get better brand recognition. They're hiring over 200 new programmers and expanding the corporate headquarter with several projects and new buildings. And did you know that MA is the largest UPS shipper in the Southeast?? Amazing!

The new corporate Annual Reports were reviewed too. Marc showed us how much payout the company does in commissions........over 66% for every BV point that comes in goes to people building their UnFranchise business. That's unheard of in network marketing, the industry average is about 40%.  And a new site is being developed that will feature the total payouts in a rolling format, like the national debt figures, but instead will show total commissions payout!

I'm so fired up too about the recommendations for customer service too. They taught most of the things I'm already doing! Some are just basic follow up, but the rest was really new to everyone else. I just need to be consistently consistent... as the saying goes, to provide better solutions and support.

Dr. Shari Lieberman was there and I attended her evening session to for an in-depth Transitions briefing on how to implement the 12 week system for groups. She says that those groups are key to staying on track and learning from others about the changes they make to their daily lives and tips for converting favorite recipes to low glycemic menus. I really enjoyed her candid sense of humor too, she is such a "New Yawker" and quite personable too.

As for MOTIVES.........oh yeah!!! The new corporate rep was there to introduce herself and announced the plans to take our custom cosmetics to the marketplace. She spoke of possibly associating a celebrity with our Motives brand to get national recognition and incorporating the skin and personal care lines into one catalog.

I really look forward to getting out there and promoting this spectacular company while creating a living that helps others. Let's see what develops over the next few months. Some changes are starting after December, I'll have to write more later.........its time for some errands to get squared away.
