More Info for Skincare & Cosmetic Skills
Hi folks!
Its been crazy busy since I got back and there's so much to do!! And I'm still playing catch-up!
Yesterday, for once, I was enjoying a beautiful day on the boat in Oyster Bay with my hubby and our girls counting hermit crabs and exploring Centre Island Beach. Reluctantly, I had to get dropped off at the dock to attend a Motives meeting--I had asked for it so I had to go! I could have very easily used the 'beached the boat' excuse--which did occur for two hours, but boy am I glad that I kept my commitment.
We learned how to promote our Custom Cosmetics and various skincare products from the local Certified Trainer. She was elected 'Motives Trainer of The Year' recently and is committed to getting us the info we need. This division has been slow to grow in NY and much of it is due to the lack of trainers to share their knowledge with the field. NYC has only one trainer, just one, plus another for Spanish and another for Korean. The distributors that I work with have the best products under their noses but don't even know what they have or how to use them!! Just tailoring a customized skincare regimen is hit and miss without the training.
A Senior Consultant and myself have conducted two Motives Overviews prior to the main monthly business presentation in an effort to stir up more interest on Long Island. We're both shy and lack the professional speaking skills that one would expect at a presentation, but we've been practicing and gaining the experience and posture necessary which is also carrying over into our daily activities. And now we'll be getting some help from our local leaders. Yippee!
At a company picnic last Saturday, some distributors were very appreciative of our efforts. We had a blast, by the way, at a wonderful park and got to hang out as one big Market America family. There was a softball game, bocci ball, playgrounds with water features and games for the kids with lots of great food and friends! Its nice to really like the people you work with.
Timeless Prescription, Skintelligence, VitaShield, Pentaxyl and Motives are all incredible product lines and each has its own unique features and benefits. I know Market America only produces quality stuff with the theraputic doses of said ingredient for effectiveness based on the research data BUT until someone explains to you exactly what it does & why, its hard to grasp it with just brochures and web copy. Specialized trainings make the difference! It increases my skills as a Customer Manager which lets me orientate you, the consumer, better.
Did you know the key ingredient in the Timeless line is MDI Complex? Its an exclusive to MA and was developed by the top world leaders in Anti-Aging medicine Drs. Goldman & Klatz. This amazing complex is used to help organs last longer for transplantation and is now in our formulations for anti-aging purposes. Cellular regeneration! That's why Timeless Prescription is a "cosmeceutical" line and has so many targeted products for specific skin concerns like dehydration, photo-damage from the sun and the endless race to banish wrinkles.
I learned so much last night and I wish that I could share it all with each of you. Our products are truly in need of educational tools, especially for those of you online shoppers. Unless I email or speak with you, its hard to give you tips for best results that I'm just learning myself.
Like with Pentaxyl...did you know that it works best when massaged into the skin upon application until you feel slightly warm in the desired treatment area? It stimulates the product to penetrate deeply into the collagen that has lost its plumpness. One lady present reported results on stretch marks within 3 days when used as directed on the bottle AND rubbed in like that!! Its also a triple bio-peptide. That's one more peptide than the "better than botox" product with a better value of 6 ounces for $70 versus their 4 ounces for $135. Pentaxyl is really "beyond Botox"! Who knew!
And VitaShield Firming Eye Cream has had Matrixyl in it long before it was THE peptide to have for about four years now, I think. Now its everywhere but in 'window-dressing' amounts, just barely enough to count and be listed on the label for a cheap product that's mostly ineffective yet big money for anyone that makes it. We need to come out with mini-commercials. I saw some at Convention for three or four products, it would be so cool to see demos and entertaining videos as additional resources. Time will tell.
I can't wait to see the new portal online! In two more weeks we'll be able to check it out and I'll create my first poll to get some feedback from my readers and Preferred Customers. Hopefully there will be some additional info about our products. Better product descriptions and tips are being incorporated into the new site. People go online to do research before they buy, right? I know I do....So shouldn't we have resources and links available. Well, that's what I hear is on the way.
Okay that's all for now, enjoy the rest of the summer and make sure to cool off with a spritz of Skintelligence ph Normalizer with moisture enhancing botanicals. Hey-could too much information be a potential circuit overload on your PC??? Hmmm, I wonder? LOL

PS---Get your copy of the new book for Transitions Lifestyle System's Glycemic Index Food Guide by Dr. Shari Lieberman!! Advance copies are available now in the Health & Nutrition store under Weight Management--soon to be in bookstores nationwide!! "Muscle Dictates Metabolism!"
